What is a Healing-oriented Therapy?

A healing-oriented therapy for cancer takes into account the whole person (body, mind, and spirit). It makes use of all appropriate therapies for the good of the patient. The principles encompassing the basic goals of a healing-oriented therapy include the following:

1. A partnership between patient and practitioner. Patients are encouraged to play a major role in deciding what treatment is best for themselves and then take charge of their healing journey.

2. Facilitate the body's innate healing abilities e.g by taking herbs, and eating good, wholesome food.

3. Neither reject conventional medicine nor embrace alternative medical practices uncritically.

4. Realize that a good therapy is grounded in good science and open to new paradigms.

5. Focus on promoting health, as well as treating disease. Taking into account a good quality of life, for the patient and their loved ones.

Be at peace with yourself. Pray. Take time to be. A decision made in haste and under duress is never a good one. Use these basic guidelines to choose and decide which path you wish to take. In cancer, there is no one "right path" for everyone. Only you will know what is best for yourself.

CA Care Therapy

CA Care Therapy is a healing-orientated therapy that is being used for more than ten years mostly by cancer patients in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Cancer is a complex problem and we need multi-approaches to achieve healing. The strategy is to heal from within while, at the same time, resolving some uncomfortable symptoms. The Cancer Care Therapy consists of the following holistic steps.

Step 1: Give total commitment to Your Healing
This is your sickness and only you can heal yourself - others can only help. Our experiences show that those who actually participated in the healing process benefited and won.

Step 2: Seek Proper Medical Help
Ca
ncer Care does not substitute medical doctors. You are strongly advised to get the best from medical science but, at the same time, know the limits of the science itself. It is written that there is no single effective treatment that is universally effective or guarantees a complete cure. In cancer treatment, there is nothing certain except the uncertainty of its result.

Step 3: Take Herbs
Cancer Care Therapy uses herbs that help people with cancer. This is well documented in "The Cancer Care Therapy" book.

Step 4: Eat Rightly
Diet is important and can determine the progress and direction of your healing. However, we believe that diet itself cannot heal cancer as much as drugs alone cannot cure it. Cancer Care advocates that your diet consists of:
  • Plenty of fresh vegetables (especially the cruciferous), either raw or cooked.
  • Lots of fresh juices and fruits.
  • Whole grains, cereals, seeds and nuts in as unprocessed a form as possible.
  • Avoid meat and dairy products.
  • Avoid refined table salt, white sugar and cooking oil with trans-fat.
  • Avoid all preserved, canned or processed food.
For more details read our book "Food &Cancer" (available in English, Indonesian and Chinese edition).

Step 5: Lead a Happy Stress-free Life
A heart of peace gives life to the body. Proverbs 14:30

Cultivate a positive attitude. Avoid anxiety, and other negative emotions. Learn how to forgive and forget. Forgiveness releases you of all the "negative feelings" the person you forgave had over you. It is for yourself. Live a loving and stress-free life.

Do proper exercise daily to improve health and reduce stress. Studies have shown that dalily exercise can decrease the risk of cancer. But do not overstrain yourself.
